ok, ladies. i need your help. first of all, i know it's a little premature to be worrying about this yet, but i really want a nice double stroller. cameron would be disgusted if he knew how much this beauty is...
but it's the one i want. i feel that it has all that i would need until our last kiddos were big. i'd love a sit n stand, but wyatt will only be 16 months and not quite ready for that, i'm afraid. am i crazy for thinking this is a good "investment" and should i just bite the bullet, pick up a few extra shifts and get this stroller? i'm SO not against buying used if it's a good deal either.. so if you know anyone selling one, please let me know. also, if you have any comments about double strollers that you LOVE please leave a note. i'm racking my brain over here.

The City Mini is awesome. However, if you are going to do any jogging or "off roading" (which to us mostly means walks over bumpy roads) then I suggest the Bob. We LOVE ours. And, it gets great reviews. We have lots of friends with the double Bob and they all love it as well.
I have the city select jogging stroller (single)... so obviously diff from what you are looking at, but same brand. Anyways, it is AWESOME. I love love it. It is so easy to fold down, and so easy to unfold. They also have an attachment for the back that a child can stand on once they get older. Its called the glider board, I use it for my older when we go to Disneyland. Check it out - its awesome.
When I was pregnant with my second this was my one big stress for half my pregnancy. What stroller to get? I researched just about every stroller on this earth. I bought four strollers and ended up returning them after having second thoughts. I finally ended up with the citi mini and I love it!!! It is an investment and if you go a ton of places with your kids like I do this stroller is so worth the price. I have never once regretted buying it. It folds up so nice and fast. It glides so nicely. The sun shades are awesome. You really will love it.
I am a HUGE fan of the Phil and Ted strollers they are a little $$$ but the BEST!!! They are a running/ regular stroller in one. You can drop down one seat a make a bassinet and have the other one sitting on top! I got the DASH and LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! If you ever go to Disneyland that is what most people with a few kids have that is where I discovered and fell in love!!!
get a bob.
Ash...just saw your exciting news!! Congratulations...I am sooo thrilled for you!!
Have you looked at the bumble? The double is pretty awesome and the seats can lay completely flat which is awesome if you want to change a diaper or use it for a baby under six mo. and a toddler. It's a little spendy and runs about $700.00 but it is awesome and It is at the top of the list of must haves for our twinsters because we can add a paddle for Will too.
Hey!!! So you already know of my LOVE for the city mini, but I wanted you to know that the 2011 models are on sale now. You may already know that if you have been watching, but I thought I would let ya know. They are on sale because they are making room for the 2012 model and when they are gone there gone. The 2012 models look so awesome, but I do think they are going to be a little more expensive than the 2011 models at the regular price...So if you are going to do it...now would be the time. I really think you would love it especially since you have a running/bike trailer that works as a double as well. Right?
This is why I love that everyone is ahead of me so they can figure it out for me before I get to that point :) sorry I have no helpful advice, Congrats by the way on baby!!!
